The Hunter 38 is a classic production sailboat designed with cruising in mind. The design was launched in 2004 and the following year it won Cruising World's "Production Cruiser under 40 Feet" for its innovation and many cruising amenities.

This model is a 2 cabin/1 head layout that sleeps 4 comfortably, and 6 if you drop the saloon table to create a 3rd double berth in the main cabin.

The model was offered with two different keel designs:

1) Deep Fin Keel with a draft of 6.5'

2) Shoal Wing Keel with a draft of 5'*

*Therapy is outfitted with the Shoal Wing Keel and a minimal draft of just 5', perfect for cruising the Caribbean, Chesapeake Bay, and coastal Carolina regions (or anywhere where gunk-holing off remote islands is possible.)

The design features in-mast furling, an electric windlass, complete climate control with a split-system of 23,000 btu capacity, and many more desirable cruising amenities to keep the whole family happy.
