New to Market, massive rebuild in 2018.  NEW (2018) BETA MARINE B-38 with maybe 50 hours?  See video and photos.

When you walk on this boat you'll see she's fast but upon heading down below, you'll have a hard time believing her age.  No expense was spared in the refit.  Owner loved and cared for this boat and enjoyed many days at sea with his family up and down the coast to Florida and Bahamas.

2 heads, 2 staterooms, nearly brand new Beta Maine diesel engine, spare set of sails and spinnaker. Beautiful woodwork and lovely faux stone counters.

The shoal draft make this an idea Southern Boat for Skinny Waters at 4'5" .  Hard to find a big boat with this draft in such great condition - especially at this aggressive price point.  Must be seen to be fully appreciated.  Please make an appointment to view now!

Engines

Barely used B-38 from Beta Marine installed when boat was completely refitted in 2018.  Not heavily used after refit unfortunately.  Has under 50 hours the owner thinks. Fosters Mobile Marine did the engine install.  Company still in business and does a great deal of work locally and enjoys an outstanding reputation.

Refitted

Completely remodeled in 2010.  Receipts will be provided. As you will see when you head down below, the boat has been completely redone.  The owner refitted this boat completely and unfortunately has to be put up for sale by family as she won''t get the use she deserves.  She''ll make someone a dream boat as she was to this family.   Cruising plans were in the offing as you''ll see.  Clean, new headliners, barely run/new 2018 Beta Marine Engine (B-38), which fired right up.   Custom galley table and more.  Details to follow as they are gathered.   The troublesome skylight that came from factory was glassed in with new opening windows in 2010.  No known leaks.  The tanks for heads were removed and deep cleaned/examined in the 2010 remodel.   Original ports, re-sealed during the interior remodel in 2008. Dinghy Motor lift.

Sails

Spare set of sails including Spinnaker.

Auto Helm

Auto-pilot – Raymarine x10 corepack with ST70 autopilot controller, hydraulic drive unit and custom stainless rudder arm, and autopilot remote

Rigging replaced 2018-20 by Deaton Yacht Services.  Some of the running rigging could use refreshing.  Deaton''s is now Zimmerman but we believe the same rigger is still there and could possibly offer insight and reinspection at survey.

145 Domestic Water 45 Fuel Blackwater unknown, researching

Additional Information

Never grounded, never hit by lightning nor any crashes. The extent of hurricane damage in our 26+ years of ownership was a bent stanchion that was replaced.  Exceedingly well maintained vessel by very knowledgeable owner.

Owner Notes/Comments

S/V Southern Accent underwent an extensive interior remodel in 2010 by Crystal Coast Interiors of Havelock, NC; with woodwork completed by Billy Cannon of Jarret Bay. All interior wood was re-varnished, the kitchen table was redone with a beautiful compass rose inset-veneer, all headliner was replaced, ample dimmable LED lighting installed throughout, keel bolts were replaced with new stainless and epoxied-over to prevent re-rusting, new water lines, new light-weight faux stone  countertops. One inch-thick engine room sound-proofing, storage areas had upholstery applied for sound deadening, all wood cladding in sides against hull and deck had insulation added for heat barrier.
