The 3100 Open''s standard exterior features include a stepped cockpit floor, transom/boarding door, tilt-away helm station (with over 2 square feet of space for additional electronics), and helm and companion back-to-back seats. The interior is expansive, with outstanding 6''4" headroom - making the open cabin arrangement a large, livable, and comfortable retreat for 4. Complete with fully-equipped galley, dinette/berth, private forward berth, and private head. Six opening ports, and three overhead hatches with screens, provide excellent ventilation and light throughout.
Exterior description
The Tiara 3100 open has a large cockpit with plenty of comfortable seating in the lower aft section and also in the upper level with the helm station. She has an adjustable helm seat starboard side with room for 2 at the wheel.
To port from helm is an L shaped plush seating area raised even with the helm for excellent visibility fore and aft. There are cup holders and foot rests to make this a very comfortable spot. There is storage below both seating areas.
Aft of the helm and the raised seating is the lower cockpit that has room for larger coolers and seating in the form of captain or deck chairs. There is in floor storage and places for the electrical cords connection, water in and out, engine access controls and rod holders in the gunwhale. The aft side of the captain bench houses a sink, drink holders, cutting board and fridge.
There are side decks to safely get from stern to bow with well placed hand holds to get you forward to the bow rail.
On the bow there is a spot light and electric windlass.
The center section of the windshield opens for great ventilation.
The helm station houses new chart plotter, VHF radio, depth and auto pilot. The engine controls, engine information, breakers for various systems and compass.
Interior walk through
From the cockpit you walk down 3 small teak lined companionway steps to reach the main salon. hard to port is the single head and shower. To starboard of the companionway steps is the large salon table with U shaped seating for 6.
On the aft bulkhead is the stereo and additional breakers in a 12V and 120V distribution panel. The generator controls are here also.
Forward of the salon table is the large berth in an elevated state for comfort.
The galley is to port with electric cooktop, fridge, sink with goose neck faucet, microwave and plenty of storage for a long weekend away or a long cruise down the coast or even a jump to the Bahamas!
