NEW LISTING!  2001 Beneteau Oceanis 411 "Cardea"
The Oceanis 411 is built for adventurers who are ready to cruise offshore onboard a fast and elegant sailing boat. Without a doubt, as much by its design and performance as by its construction and equipment, the Oceanis 411 established a high standard for cruising sailboats for a long time to come. With her long waterline and efficient sail plan, the Océanis 411 may well catch some yachts that claim to be racing cruisers.
Whatever the point of sail, well propped up in the cockpit, you can steer with the tips of your fingers, thanks to the big leather-covered wheel giving perfect control of the generously proportioned rudder.  And as the genoa winches are within your reach, you will be able to tune the genoa yourself if your crew prefers enjoying the comfort of the
cockpit to fine tuning. Once you have arrived at your destination, with the genoa furled, and the mainsail effortlessly furled into its cover thanks to the lazy jacks, the mooring
maneuvering is easy thanks to the electric windlass.
And this is where, with the engine switched off, in the peace of your favorite creek, the Océanis 411 will let you discover her other personality: easy movement for everyone along the uncluttered sidedecks, the protection afforded by the elegant solid teak bulwark, the semi-recessed windlass, down to the smallest details: it has all been designed to make your life on board even more enjoyable.

For bathing and climbing back on board easily, the aft platform, fitted with a bathing ladder and a cockpit shower unit, is a model of its kind. The access door to the cockpit is extremely practical, either in the down position as an access step, or in the up position for completely shutting off the transom. The slatted teak seats in the cockpit conceal four big lockers for stowing all the equipment necessary for a successful cruise. The helm-station console combines the engine control panel and the control lever, and has ample space
for fitting on-board electronics.  The central table, with two folding leaves, contains a picnic icebox, and its size has been specially designed with the crew's comfort and convenience in mind, while still allowing easy movement around the cockpit.

The Océanis 411 is as pleasant to live in below decks as on the deck. You will have noticed the impressive number of deck hatches and opening portholes, as well as the dorade-type vents for ideal ventilation.  In this spacious interior layout (2 double cabins),
no space has been wasted, so that everyone can take full advantage of the comfort provided by this truly exceptional sailing boat.  As on all the Océanis models, the paneling is in cherrywood-stained mahogany, giving a feeling of warmth and pleasant lighting on board.

The galley (U-shaped on the 2-cabin version) is a model of its kind, with a gimballed
oven cooker, a big refrigerator with 2 compartments, a double sink with hot and cold water, and plenty of lockers for stowing everything from the galley utensils to ample cruising provisions.

The two heads compartments are excellently ventilated and fully lined for easy maintenance. They each have a washbasin, shower unit with pressurized hot and cold water, and a marine toilet.

The convertible table in the saloon will comfortably dine eight people or, in the "lounge" position, lets you relax with friends over a drink after a day at sea.

Finally, the navigator's position has been designed for blue water cruising and for pleasure: the chart table has plenty of storage space, and the installed stereo leaves all the space necessary for installing the on-board electronics.
