Bill Sudek
BROKER
Bill Sudek was born and raised on the upper Chesapeake Bay, making Seneca Creek and Middle River his playground on the Western shore of the Bay, just North of Baltimore. Growing up on the Bay, Bill spent a lot of time fishing and crabbing on Johnboats and small runabouts until he got into high school and graduated to center consoles and twin-engine performance boats. Bill and his wife, Susie, have three daughters. While the girls were young, they spent most of their weekends over summer on their 34’ Express cruiser. They also enjoyed exploring the back coves of the Bay aboard their dinghy. After being certified as an Airframe and Powerplant mechanic, Bill spent ten years as a line mechanic for American Airlines. During this time Bill honed his skills for mechanical troubleshooting and general problem-solving which are strengths he still uses today as a broker. Bill first became involved in sales when he agreed to join the sales team of his father-in-law’s office supply business in Baltimore, which he did to help grow the family business. This venture proved so successful that after a few years of successful growth a national chain offered an agreeable sum to purchase the family business and it was sold at that time. Bill became an entrepreneur when he bought his first business which was a kitchen and bath remodeling company serving the Annapolis and Baltimore regions. He successfully owned and operated the business for the next sixteen years. In 2021 Bill and Susie purchased a 47’ Sealine and decided to go cruising. They left the Chesapeake Bay, cruised the ICW, and spent time in Florida and the Dry Tortugas before making it back up to Carolina Beach, NC. Bill and Susie fell in love with the Wilmington area and decided to make it their permanent home in 2022. Bill decided to finally combine his love of boating with his mechanical and sales experience to become a Yacht Broker in 2022. Bill is excited to join the team of St. Barts Yachts to continue to share his knowledge and passion for boating, as well as the Beneteau and Lagoon brands.
